Today, I got a saddle on Rose, who I'm now calling Rosie Cotton. :)

Tomorrow, I'll be going on a trail ride with Brandy and a few other friends. I'm excited, even though I'll probably get even more of a sunburn.

THEN my sister (also my best friend) and possibly my other best friend are going to the outdoor cinema in Fairhaven to see Whip It, which is an amazing movie. =P

Working on a story called

Under My Bed

Don't even ask why I decided to name it that, because I have no idea.

I'm at my mom's store, Covet, with my sister Kayla - Kayla works here and its a long boring day for her, so I'm keeping her company.
I ate all of my vanilla yogurt blueberries that aren't actually blueberries.

Lately, I've been into french braiding my hair at night and having wavy curls during the day, rather than blow-drying and straightening my hair all the time. I think this is probably a good change, not to mention the compliments I've been getting =P

So anyways, I feel like posting some photos so here:

Raj & Rose

Today is Father's Day.
Doesn't mean shit for me. I'm a bad daughter, I suppose.

That or my Dad and StepDad aren't deserving of anything more than a 'Happy Father's Day'. No gift, no hug, just a few words. Better be damn enough for them.

Today: Brandy and I are going with Terry - the owner of Raj, the young horse Brandy is training - to Skyy's barn to pick up the horse named Rose. The one, you know, that Brandy and I were going to adopt. Instead of us adopting her, Terry is buying her, and bringing both Raj and Rose to his house. That's what we're doing today. Brandy and I will still be training Rose and Raj, it's just that Raj and Rose are both moving to a new home today.

Only problem is that you can barely get a halter on Rose. Wonder how hard it'll be to get her in a trailer. HAH.
We'll probably be a while. XD

I've discovered the magnificence of vanilla yogurt blueberries and dance/electronic music.
And because of that; I am quite happy.

Anyways... Brandy, Jamie and I took our horses - Sox, Riley and Skyy - on a trail ride at Lake Padden today. It was hella fun! I forgot to take any pictures though, lol.

Anywho I'm hella tired and just want to RELAX because I literally, drove home from Seattle & got home @ 1:30 then got up at 8:00 (which is early for me, BTW) and went working with horses ALL day! So tiring! And now of course I'm hella sore XD

2) Round penned Skyy!
3) Rode Skyy!
4) Gave Skyy a bath!
5) Drove home in like 15 minutes (Cut the usual time in half, hahaha GO ME)!

AND I worked in my garden a bit, played with the dog, read a bit, took a shower, got mostly ready for tonight's concert and NOW I'm just chillin'. =D
I really, truthfully am, amazing. Once I'm done with the post, I'll probably go make some Cup Noodles and write or read or something. =P

This... is my garden from last year. Took the picture this spring, before I cleared it up to start a new one... I felt rather sad for it :(

It's been a few days!

I've been busy! Haha! Picked up my friend JenJen a few days ago and she's been staying @ my house since then... Had to help her through a break up with her boyfriend of almost two years.. *_* (Whatever that face means, lol)
Anyways TODAY OMG!!!! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I haven't ridden my horse in ages, it seems! So I'm going to ride her TODAY! WHOO!!!! :D:D:D
But I'm on a mission! See, It's 8:51AM now.
Jen is being picked up by her friend Justin @ 9:30. I'm leaving RIGHT when they are. I've got to drive to the barn (Takes about a half hour each way), ride or at LEAST round pen Skyy, clean her stall etc., then drive back home by NOON! It's crazyyyy! I don't know that I'll make it but I HOPE I CAN!!!

Then later tonight, JenJen, Kayla and I (Kayla being my sister, just in case that wasn't clear) are going to see MIYAVI!!!!!! LIVE!!!!!!!! IN SEATTLE!!!!!! FUCK YES!!!!!!!!

Blood on my Finger & Memories.

For some reason.. There's blood on my hand. I have no idea where it came from! I don't have a cut or anything anywhere.... =/ Oh well!

I picked up my best friend Mikki from school today - it was her last day of school and so it got out around 11. We went to Burger King, then went to see our old houses. Mikki's old house wasn't a problem to find. My old house, in Sudden Valley, was a completely different story.

We ended up in a different county, looking for it! lmao! My old house is at the top of a REALLY steep hill in the middle of the forest, so after driving around TONS of curvy winding roads we finally made it to my old road, and I wasn't sure Ted (My old car) could make it up there! It was pretty close, actually! XD Anyways. Heading back, I didn't know if I'd have enough gas to make it back. And I only had $4 on me. LOL.

Anyways... Seeing my old house, just brought back so much. It looks exactly the same. It almost made me sad... Just looking at it I could remember exactly how everything looked inside, even my mom's room that I'd only ever been in a few times as a child.

Definitely brought back a lot.

Anyways..... THE SUN IS OUT!!!!!!!!! It's SO beautiful!!!!! :D:D:D:D

Finished Legacy, and I recently found out that I got a fairly bad sunburn on my upper back.

I'm not happy about this.
Oh well.
I also acquired several mosquito bites - during the day - while @ Brandy's house yesterday.
Those things are out all day and all night and there is no avoiding them.

Now that I've finished that book (switch topics here), I'm going to watch some Bones and/or work on one of my own stories.
But for right now.... I'm going to put a shirt on over my bra and go downstairs where my evil stepfather and lovely mother are.
To get myself some ice cream.

I'll start by saying....

My last post did not lie. I got 3 1/2 hours of sleep total.
LOL.
To make it even better, though, the next day (yesterday) I didn't eat anything until like, 10. PM.
I woke up, said by to my family (who left for the weekend) and went to my friend Brandy's house. Brandy and I put a few of her horses into the fields (She has 3, training another) and then we went to visit the barn where Skyy lives.
We didn't go to see Skyy, but more to see Rose. Rose is a little pinto mare who was completely neglected and is now being slowly brought back to health by her new owner - the manager of the barn Skyy lives in. Brandy and I are probably going to buy Rose from the manager, and take her to Brandy's house to train for the summer. Is that not exciting?! :D
Anyways after we round penned Rose for a bit to see if she was broke at all (so far, we're thinking not), I lunged Skyy and then played the run around the arena with me game. Basically.... I run next to Skyy while she's at a jog, then I run as fast as I can in the arena (which, because of the arena, isn't all that fast, lol) and Skyy'll slowly lope next to me. Thennnn, I randomly turn or stop or pivot or something, and Skyy will either (depending on what I do) A) Run past me and go off into LaLa Land, B) Run into me and kill me, C) Turn with me and continue following me, or D) Stop next to me and not hit me. lol. Skyy usually does either C) or D). :D Anyways!
Leaving that barn, we went to get smoothies and milkshakes, then went to the humane society to ask about their horses - we got a very rude and very unhelpful response. Deciding humane society horses were not what we wanted to deal with; simply because of the humane society, not the horses, we went to Brandy's and rode two of her horses down the beach.
The FUN part. Brandy's horse (now referring the horse Brandy rode as 'Brandy's horse' and the horse I rode as 'my horse') is afraid of mostly everything on a beach/trail ride. So we get to a little creek,  and Brandy spends almost 15 minutes trying to get her horse to step over it - finally she has to back her horse through the tiny creek. LMAO. This happens more than once, for anything that looks frightening, Barbie (her horse) simply stops. My horse, Sox, is great on the way down. Real soft, easy going, stopping to munch on some grass when Barbie throws a hissy fit. Not even five minutes after we're heading back, while I'm turned around facing Brandy, Sox spooks (probably at nothing), bucks, bolts, and bucks again. So I grab an inside rein to circle him, right, and his head goes flying into the air and he COMPLETELY ignores me. Thankfully I finally wiggled his head down and to the side and he stops. Brandy is sitting there behind me shocked and laughing insanely - we both thought I'd fall off, but I didn't even drop my cell phone (Which was in my bra)! Go me! lol. This happens one more time on the ride back. Apparently, Sox was anxious to get home.

Of course, I know the reason for this. Sox's old owner (Brandy's sister) would always just let him run  back to the barn, totally out of control, literally every time they rode on the beach. Now, for him, it's just habit.
We'll have to work on that.
I'm just saying - I used to think Sox as a real shitty horse - always taking off bucking, biting, being too lazy, always throwing his head up and ignoring any pressure from the bit. After riding him on the beach and in the arena the other day, I have a whole new appreciation for that horse. The only thing that is true about that horse that I just wrote, is his laziness, which, if you ask, he can get up and actually work, rather than just moping around. That horse will drop his head completely if you ask, and no random spooks (other than heading back on the beach, which is a given). He really, just needs a horse that can ride him.

Anywho! Now I'm going to go eat some of the double fudge ice cream Brandy and I bought at 9:55PM last night (5 min to closing), paid for all in quarters at the self checkout. Yeah, the people behind us (there actually were quite a few people there that late) got rather frustrated.

AND! I'm going to finish Legacy, since I'm almost finished with it =p

What's that I hear? Uh-oh..

Makes me nervous when I hear several gun shots out at night in a row, then dead silence.
No pun intended.

Then, barely 10 minutes later, right below my window, I hear one of my cats fighting like crazy shit with some other animal.
Good thing my other cat stayed at the open window to watch from above rather then take part in the fight.

I worry, sometimes.
However this evening's disturbances aren't going to stop me from enjoying my night of natural cheetos (=p) and Legacy, or possibly some Bones or possibly some writing. There's so much I intend on doing tonight, and it's already almost midnight. I suppose I should go make some tea and pull an all-nighter. =p

We gotta start somewhere

I was about to put a new post up on my other blog. But I don't feel like writing about music at the moment, so I decided to make a new blog. Because when I was about to write about Atreyu, I wanted to write about a book instead.
So right now, I'm going to write about a book I read about a year ago, called Legacy. It's by a young author named Cayla Kluver. I barely remember the book... And I don't have it anymore, so I'm totally bummed.
BUT! Imma buy it. Indeed.
I also just bought a $50+ cd&dvd from Japan.

I have a lot of guy friends lately. OMG I made a new friend today! Well... Not really friends... But still, we might end up as friends! I hope so, I could totally go for a new friend! So exciting!
